Stationery Collection 2026
Chris Elmore MP has launched the Back-to-School Stationery Collection 2026, calling on the community to once again come together to help children and young people across the Bridgend & Porthcawl constituency start the new school year with confidence.
Following the success of last year’s appeal, which saw hundreds of stationery items donated by local residents, the campaign returns in partnership with Bridgend Foodbank and Awen Libraries. This year, three new donation points have also joined the appeal at Ynysawdre Pool & Fitness Centre, Pencoed Swimming Pool and Porthcawl Museum, making it even easier for people to get involved.
The appeal aims to help ensure children and young people have the essential stationery they need for the new school year. Donations of new stationery items, no matter how big or small, will help support local families across the constituency.
Chris Elmore MP said:
“One of the things that makes the Bridgend & Porthcawl constituency a great place is the willingness of local people to support one another.
“Last year’s appeal showed just how generous our community is. Hundreds of stationery items were donated to help local families prepare for the new school year and I hope we can build on that success once again.
“Whether it’s a pack of pens, a notebook or a school bag, every donation can make a real difference to a local child.
“I would like to thank Bridgend Foodbank, Awen Libraries, Halo Leisure and Porthcawl Museum for supporting the appeal this year. Launching the appeal early gives the teams the time they need to sort and distribute donations to families before children return to school in September.”
