Small businesses are at the heart of communities across the Bridgend & Porthcawl constituency. They create local jobs, provide services we rely on and bring so much to the places we call home.
I’m fortunate to meet and work with many brilliant local businesses, and I’ll always do everything I can as the local MP to support them and make sure their voices are heard.
I’ve supported Small Business Saturday for many years. So, in the build-up to this year’s event on 5th December, I’m delighted to launch the Bridgend & Porthcawl Small Business Awards 2026.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be celebrating some of the businesses nominated and the people behind them – while encouraging everyone to support the fantastic small businesses on our doorstep, particularly in the run-up to Christmas, but all year round too.

Nominate a Bridgend & Porthcawl Small Business:
Simply nominate a small business you think deserves some recognition and tell me why. It could be a shop, café, restaurant, salon, tradesperson or any other small business – whether they have a traditional shopfront or not.
The business you nominate must be based within the Bridgend & Porthcawl constituency.
