I’m delighted to announce that my next constituency bus trip to London will take place on Monday 30th November 2026.
These trips have always been incredibly popular and are a great opportunity for constituents from across Bridgend & Porthcawl to enjoy a day out in London.
The coach will leave early in the morning, with pick-ups in Porthcawl, Bridgend and Pencoed, before travelling directly to Westminster.
When the coach arrives in London, there will be the option to join a guided tour of the Houses of Parliament. You certainly don’t have to take the tour and are welcome to head off and start your day in London straight away, but if you’ve never visited Parliament before, I’d really recommend it. Some constituents have enjoyed the tour so much they’ve done it more than once – and some more than twice!
For those taking part in the tour, I’ll meet you in Westminster Hall to welcome you to Parliament and have a chat before the tour begins. Westminster Hall is the oldest surviving part of the Palace of Westminster, dating back to 1097, and has been at the heart of British history for more than 900 years.
After the tour, you’ll have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy London and do whatever you fancy – whether that’s some Christmas shopping, sightseeing, visiting a museum, having something to eat or simply enjoying the city.
The coach will leave Westminster at around 6.30pm, from the same location where you were dropped off that morning, for the journey home.
Tickets cost £32 per person, including return coach travel.
