Chris Elmore MP was pleased to once again meet with Sarah Jones, CEO of Y Bont — this time not at the charity’s centre on Ewenny Road in Bridgend, but in the Jubilee Room at the Houses of Parliament, where Y Bont attended the launch of the Association of Children’s Respite Providers.

Y Bont, based in Bridgend, provides vital support to children with disabilities, complex medical needs, and emerging conditions such as autism and Down syndrome, as well as assistance for their families. The charity is a valued part of the local community, offering respite services and practical help throughout the year.

A long-time supporter of Y Bont, Chris Elmore MP has visited the centre on multiple occasions and has consistently praised the charity’s dedication to families across Bridgend and South Wales.

“Y Bont provides practical, life-changing support for children and their families,” said Chris Elmore MP. “It was a pleasure to see Sarah again — especially at such an important launch — and to see the charity take its place within a national association that will strengthen respite services across the UK. I’m proud to support their work and look forward to seeing them continue to grow.”
