In the run-up to Easter, the generosity of our community really shone through. Chris Elmore MP would like to say a big thank you to everyone who got involved in this year’s Easter egg collection, run in partnership with Bridgend Foodbank and Awen Libraries.

Thanks to the incredible support from local residents, hundreds of Easter eggs were donated and shared with families supported by Bridgend Foodbank. These donations helped bring smiles to children’s faces and made Easter a little brighter.

A special thank you goes out to everyone who dropped off Easter eggs at Awen Library locations—your kindness means a lot. Chris also thanks the amazing staff at Awen Libraries and the team at Bridgend Foodbank, whose hard work made sure every donation reached families in time for Easter.
