Residents across the Bridgend & Porthcawl constituency have two weeks left to donate to a local Easter egg collection supporting children and families in the community.
Following last year’s successful appeal—when residents generously donated hundreds of Easter eggs—Chris Elmore MP for Bridgend & Porthcawl is once again partnering with Bridgend Food Bank and Awen Libraries to bring some extra joy to local families this Easter.
The Easter Egg Collection 2026 aims to ensure that children across the community can enjoy a special Easter treat, regardless of their circumstances.
Chris is encouraging constituents to take part by purchasing an extra Easter egg during their regular shopping and donating it at one of the designated drop-off points located in Awen Libraries across the Bridgend & Porthcawl constituency. With support from the community, the initiative hopes to deliver Easter treats to many local children and families.
Chris Elmore MP said:
“We had a fantastic response from so many kind people last Easter, and I’m hoping we can help make Easter a little more joyful for many children in our community again this year. I’m proud to be working with Bridgend Food Bank and Awen Libraries once again to help spread some joy to children across Bridgend & Porthcawl. If you’re able to, please consider buying an extra Easter egg and donating it at one of our local libraries. Your generosity will help make Easter a little more special for so many children.”

Donations can also be made at the reception of Bridgend County Borough Council’s Civic Offices on Angel Street in Bridgend.
The appeal will close on Monday 23rd March.
