Last week, constituents contacted me about concerns over the Bridgend Repeat Prescription Ordering Hub phone service closing at the end of April 2026. Many said they hadn’t received clear information, so I contacted the Health Board for clarification.
Here’s the key information:

The service will close on 30th April 2026.

Repeat prescriptions will be handled through your GP practice or via the NHS Wales App.

GP practices and community pharmacies have been informed and are supporting patients.

Vulnerable patients will receive extra assistance.
