Following the incredible response from residents last Easter—when hundreds of chocolate eggs were generously donated—Chris Elmore MP for Bridgend & Porthcawl, is once again working with Bridgend Food Bank and Awen Libraries to support children this Easter.
The Easter egg collection 2026 aims to bring a little joy to children and families across the local community. The campaign’s goal is simple: to help ensure every child can enjoy Easter, regardless of their circumstances.
Chris is encouraging constituents to take part by purchasing an extra Easter egg while shopping and donating it at one of the designated drop-off points located at Awen Libraries across the Bridgend & Porthcawl constituency. With the community’s support, the initiative hopes to deliver Easter treats to many local children and families.
Chris Elmore MP said:
“Easter is a time for kindness, and I’m proud to be working with Bridgend Food Bank and Awen Libraries again this year to help spread some joy to children in our community. If you’re able to, please consider buying an extra Easter egg and donating it at one of our local libraries in Bridgend & Porthcawl. Your generosity will help make Easter special for so many children.”
Donation locations:
- Aberkenfig Library
- Bridgend Library (Halo Centre)
- Pencoed Library
