Following the huge success of last year’s bus trip, Chris Elmore MP is organising another bus trip to London on Monday 20th April 2026. The trip will once again give constituents the chance to enjoy a full day in the capital, including the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the historic Houses of Parliament.
The bus will make early morning pick-ups in Porthcawl, Bridgend and Pencoed before travelling to Westminster. On arrival, attendees will have the option to join a tour of Parliament, exploring its rich history and learning more about its role in shaping national democracy. The afternoon will then be free for sightseeing, shopping, or even catching a West End matinee before the return journey home.
Chris Elmore MP said: “The bus trip is always one of the highlights of my year. It’s a real privilege to welcome constituents to Parliament and give them the chance to experience its history. People always make the most of the day — whether that’s exploring London, catching a show, or simply enjoying the atmosphere — and I’m delighted to be able to offer the trip again this April. Spaces do fill up quickly, so I’d encourage anyone interested to get in touch and book their seat.”
Chris Elmore has been organising annual bus trips to London for many years. Before being elected Member of Parliament for Bridgend & Porthcawl, he served as MP for the former constituency of Ogmore, where these visits first began. Over time, hundreds of constituents have taken part, enjoying the chance to visit Parliament and make the most of a full day out in London.
Tickets cost £40, and places can be booked by emailing: [email protected] or by calling Chris’s office on 01656 860034.
