Chris Elmore MP for Bridgend & Porthcawl has officially launched his annual Small Business Saturday campaign, celebrating and supporting the independent businesses that keep local communities thriving.
Small Business Saturday takes place on Saturday 7th December and encourages everyone to shop local and support the small businesses that make such a big difference to our towns and villages, particularly in the lead-up to Christmas.
This year’s campaign highlights a range of fantastic local businesses, including Divine on John Street in Porthcawl, Mount Pleasant Farm Shop, Shed Centre Wales in Cefn Cribwr, The Welsh Honey Company in Bridgend, and The Station in Coychurch.
Chris said:
“Small businesses are at the heart of our communities. They provide jobs, services and products that enrich our local area. I’m proud to highlight the brilliant businesses we have across Bridgend & Porthcawl and to encourage everyone to shop local this Christmas.”
Details of all the businesses featured in this year’s campaign can be found on Chris’s Facebook page: Chris Elmore MP for Bridgend & Porthcawl.
Local business owners who would like to take part are encouraged to get in touch. Chris and his team are keen to hear from as many businesses as possible. Businesses featured will appear across Chris’s social media throughout November as part of his campaign to promote local enterprise and encourage people to shop local.
